What makes Pembroke Pines homes different
Pembroke Pines is the newest part of our service area and it behaves accordingly. The city grew west across former wetlands from the 1980s through the 2000s, and the great majority of its housing was built in that window — plan developments, gated communities, two-story homes on modest lots, built to modern codes with 200-amp services, grounded wiring throughout and attached garages.

Hurricane preparation is the seasonal constant. This is generator country — far enough inland to keep a standby unit out of storm surge, and far enough out on the grid that restoration can take a while. The work is the transfer switch, the circuit selection and the anchoring, and it is much better done in April than in September.
Permits go through the City of Pembroke Pines building division under the Broward County Board of Rules and Appeals, and Broward sits in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, which governs generator pads and their anchoring.
