What we actually do
Both sides of the trade, which is less common than it sounds.
On the residential side: electrical repairs and fault-finding, panel replacement and service upgrades, EV charger installation, interior and architectural lighting, whole-home and partial rewiring, grounding and bonding, GFCI and AFCI protection, pool and dock circuits.
On the commercial side: power distribution and switchgear, tenant build-outs and fit-outs for offices, retail, restaurants and warehouses, preventative maintenance with infrared thermal imaging, and generator hookups and transfer switches.
The common thread is that South Florida is its own electrical environment. Concrete block construction with no wall cavities. Salt air that corrodes service equipment from the inside. A High-Velocity Hurricane Zone with its own attachment and product-approval rules. Two counties that administer permits in completely different ways. Work here is not simply work done elsewhere in warmer weather.
The experience behind it
More than 17 years in the industry, on work ranging from custom homes and commercial facilities to hospitals, large-scale infrastructure and critical power environments.
That background is the reason a commercial distribution upgrade or a transfer switch is ordinary work here rather than the biggest job of the year — and, just as usefully, the reason a homeowner's panel gets landed as carefully as a switchboard. Standards set on critical systems do not switch off when the job is smaller.
Licensed, permitted, inspected
Florida Electrical Contractor licence EC #13012609, checkable on the Florida DBPR register.
That licence is what allows permits to be pulled in your name — and permitted, inspected work is what stands up at resale, at a four-point inspection and with an insurer. Panel changes, service upgrades, new circuits, chargers and generators are all permitted work in Miami-Dade and Broward, and we file with the correct authority: your city's building department in Miami-Dade, the county for unincorporated addresses, and your city's division under the Board of Rules and Appeals in Broward. Where the service is changing, we coordinate the FPL disconnect and reconnect.
How we work
Diagnosis before quotation. You get the cause, the options — including the option of waiting — and a price against each, before anything starts.
Then the work itself: conductors dressed, terminations torqued, labels legible, a panel directory that is actually filled in, and the site left as we found it. None of that is remarkable. It is simply what distinguishes work that will still be right in fifteen years from work that merely passed on the day.
